We are thrilled and honoured to be collaborating with another sustainable fashion brand, Musa, whose name is inspired by the 9 Muses. The muses were nine daughters of Zeus in Greek mythology, and they were the inspiring goddesses of literature, science, and the arts. They were regarded as the source of knowledge embodied in poetry, lyrics, and myths that had been passed down through ancient Greek culture for centuries.
Borw and Musa share a common goal: to make the future of humanity and the planet better.
Musa Story
MUSA Collection is a Greek premium sustainable and ethical apparel brand based in Athens, Greece. It was founded in March 2020 by Nasia Filippidi, who after years of living & working Abroad in the field of marketing and startups building, felt the need to create something that she is passionate about and loves truly, but also matters.
Her mum used to run a boutique for 28 years and fashion became Nasia’s passion since young age. When she did her master’s in Luxury Marketing a few years ago, she researched a lot about how the fashion industry is connected to our nature and the effects that it has on our planet and society. Covid-19 era was her motivation to start MUSA to not only practice sustainability in fashion and discover an alternative way of choosing and buying, but also to empower and inspire other people to dare to do what they love and follow their passion.
And that’s what |MUSA| means: Dare to #WearYourself and Embrace your own Statement.
Our collections are hand-designed by us and for our production, we have partnered with small family businesses in Greece.
We believe that Sustainability is a lot more than using and wearing eco-friendly materials. For every person means something different and we all practice it in a different way.
We believe that sustainability is a personal journey that starts with us. MUSA stands for the 9 muses of the Greek mythology that each of them had her own attributes and personality that used to embrace.
We, then, invite you to stand up for yourself, your body and the planet by choosing to #WearYourself and support your own statement.
We March for a more Sustainable & Ethical Future through our actions
Material sourcing
90% of our materials are sourced from Greek companies. In that way, we support the local economy and community, the people that work in these companies, their families, and so on. We support the local circle to keep rolling. The only materials we source from abroad are those that we cannot find them in Greece ex. pinatex. *Even materials that are not produced in our country, we choose to source them from Greek companies that have them available so as to reduce our part of Co2 emissions and at the same time support the local economy.

Zero waste policy
Part of stepping up for a more sustainable future means #Upcycling. As a fashion brand, we are trying to do our best to limit our environmental footprint. Thus, we turn our production leftovers into useful garments that you can wear and be proud of. Discover the collection here.
Repair and alteration service #ReMake
Since we are on a mission to show you a different side of “being fashionable & trendy” by considering what we touch on our skin, and protecting our planet, we step up with offering alteration service for the clothes you buy from us or for any item that you want to keep in your wardrobe.
With love,
Musa & Borw
